The library collection

We have almost 5000 books for about 500 students. California Model Library standards recommend 28 books per student (page 43) so every book in our collection is precious.  Please take care of our books!

Our collection budget is wholly funded by the PTA and our annual Scholastic Book Fair

OUSD also has a digital library - search for eBooks, Audiobooks, and read-along books on SORA (students must log in)

Would you like to donate a book? Hardbound, recently published, popular books may be acceptable for donations. Otherwise, I occasionally accept other donated books for book drives. Contact me at leigh.carroll@ousd.org for more info!
