Students will enter the library quietly, return any books to the book bin, and sit on the risers to listen to instructions and read aloud.
🐝Be respectful: give readers your quiet attention
Students will wait to be released by the librarian, the teacher, or the reader, then they can quietly stand up to find books (voice levels 0 or 1)
🐝Be safe: walk in the library and ask for help to reach books on high shelves
When students have found their books, they can check them out at the library desk and go back to the risers to read (voice levels 0 or 1)
🐝Be kind: share books and take turns when two friends want the same book
Return your books on time and take good care of your books!
🐝Be responsible: Let Ms Leigh know if you have lost or damaged a book. Always use a bookmark! Do not lend a library book to a friend.
