The Student Work Language Analysis Tools is a scaffold for using the ELD Part II standards to analyze student work. On this tool, standards are written in “I can” statements and details/examples of each standard are provided, supporting teachers in referencing the standards while examining student writing. For deeper analysis of a standard or to articulate a goal/next step for a students language development, teachers can refer back to the ELD Standards for their grade-level.
