Any example of representing the school - rugby, basketball, Cross country ( could include individual as long as they actively work as a team encouraging others etc ) - Needs to be logged on seesaw or journal with a reflection of how you showed teamwork.
This badge could be achieved by representing the school for example as part of the EURO quiz team, or playing in the WDC brass band. - Needs to be logged on seesaw or journalwith a reflection on how they had shown teamwork.
An example of this could be representing a team outside of school for a sustained period of time. ( 8 weeks ). In order to achieve this badge you need to get confirmation from your coach that you showed that you had not only represented your team but had developed your team work skills over this period of time. Examples of this might be: you set yourself a target of encouraging your teammates more. You were willing to play in any position to help the team. You helped coach and give advice to your teammates in a positive way.
An example of this could be attending a group such as BB, Scouts, Brownies over a period of time ( 8 weeks ). In that time you need to get confirmation from your Leader that you have developed your team work skills over this time. An example of this might be that you have responsibility for a small group within Brownies and you help organise and support younger Brownies.
IDL Team Project: Working with a small IDL group to plan and deliver a project. Demonstrates: In this project you need to show that you have been active in contributing their ideas, listening when others share, contributing to the work and helping to assemble the final product. A reflection either on a seesaw post or your log book needs to describe how you have shown that you have developed your team work skills within the project and give some specific examples. This needs to be supported by your team mates and the teacher.
To achieve this badge you must not only participate in an Outdoor expedition with your class but you must demonstrate how you worked as a team to complete the expedition. Examples of this might be that you shared responsibility for packing your bags and making sure your team all had the right equipment. You might demonstrate that you were able to encourage team mates when they were struggling. You might demonstrate that you walked together as a team and encouraged and supported each team member to complete this as a team and not as an individual. This needs to be reflected on and recorded in either a seesaw post or your logbook.
To achieve this badge you must demonstrate that you not only attended Ardentinny but that you developed your teamwork skills during the trip. Examples of this might be that you were able to show how you helped keep your Room clean and tidy and supported others in your room to do this. You might have been really encouraging of a team mate during the Gorge Walk by giving them tips and advice.
Along with your teacher you agree a teamwork target that you are going to work on and demonstrate in an agreed way. This might be if you find working in a IDL group really difficult that you agree with your teacher that you will be able to work for periods of time with the group and some time as an individual. This badge or badges will be agreed with your teacher.
