Our Forest School adventures allows us to work collaboratively with our school friends which enables learners to benefit from the guidance and friendship of older pupils while exploring the natural world. Together, we learn to identify different plants and animals, build shelters, and play games in the woods. These sessions not only deepen our connection to nature but also foster a strong sense of community and teamwork between our ELCC and school classes.
Teamwork is at the heart of our curriculum, and we create daily opportunities for children to learn and practice this essential life skill. Through collaborative play, shared projects, and group activities, children learn to listen to each other, share ideas, and solve problems together. This builds their confidence, teaches them empathy and respect, and helps them understand that every voice matters.
We believe creativity is about more than just art—it’s about giving children the freedom to explore, take risks, and express themselves. Our learners are busy building, inventing, and imagining new worlds.
Out and About Adventures is all about exploring the big, wide world just outside our door. Whether we're stomping through muddy puddles in the woods, spotting different road signs on the bus or visiting our local care home every trip is a chance for new discoveries.
Our Carleith Community groups empower our young learners to take the lead in making a positive difference in their local community.
