Academic Success Workshops: The Advisement Center offers academic support through a variety of success workshops each semester on topics such as effective study strategies, time management, and achieving your goals.
Celt Office: CELT’s mission is to cultivate a culture of reflective teaching practice and continuing growth that results in meaningful student learning.
Office of Learning Services: The Office of Learning Services offers tutoring services for a wide variety of classes at SUNY Oswego, and each tutor employed through OLS is thoroughly vetted to ensure that they both know the material and are capable of teaching it effectively to someone else. OLS also runs the writing center, which provides free writing assistance for SUNY Oswego students across the disciplines and all class ranks.
Penfield Library: In addition to hosting the OLS and academic workshops, Penfield Library provides an excellent work and study space for students and employees. For those who already struggle with procrastination or distractions, placing yourself in this type of environment can often be an effective way of signaling your brain that is time to buckle down and work.
