The Sound of Music Cast and Crew

Krista Hebert - Krista is 16 and has been in 4 musicals at Hazen Union. She is a junior now at Hazen Union. Krista enjoys singing and all things music. This is Krista’s first lead role and hopes you all enjoy the show.

Soloman Race - Captain Von Trapp - Soloman is a 17 year-old well rounded academic. He focuses lots of time on almost anything pertaining music. This play was perfect for him because of all of the great and famous songs. Soloman has spent his whole entire high school and middle school career dedicating himself to the Hazen drama program. He’s been in several musicals but what he usually puts more effort into are the one act festivals. In his three years of highschool so far he has been to four drama festivals. The festivals are held throughout Vermont annually and have given Soloman a great sense of how other drama programs and schools work and produce plays. Soloman appreciates his directors and school for doing such a good job managing and directing the play considering things such as budget, and the amount of adults supporting the play. Soloman is proud to be part of the Hazen drama club and, he is proud of Hazen drama club.

Leo McMurtrie - Maximilian Detweiler - Leo McMurtrie is currently in 8th grade at Hazen Union. His first official role in a play/musical (Not counting puppet shows) was in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. Later in life he wants to pursue a career in animation and directing.

Madelyn Emers - Mother Abbess - Madelyn Emers is a senior at Hazen union School. She has participated in musicals for 6 years. She does a shakespeare camp over the summer and likes to art.

Deanna Gann - Elsa Schraeder

Michael Hazard - Rolf Gruber - Michael Hazard is an 8th Grader at Hazen Union School. He has participated in musicals for 5-6 years. He sings, and he dances at Ballet Wolcott. He wants to pursue his love for acting as a career.

Sydney Aubuchon - Sister Berthe - Sydney Aubuchon has been acting for 4 years and plans to keep acting through her senior year. She loves to sing, play the trumpet, and swim in her free time, and she loves chocolate cream pie. (Plus Leo's favorite pie is pumpkin pie) when she grows up she plans to run a huge cafe, but in her near future she plans to set a personal record of sleeping for 24 hours straight once the show is over.

Lilly Race - Sister Margaretta - Lillian Race is in 8th grade and plays Sister Margaretta. I love to perform and sing and am glad to be in this performance.

Olivia Grant - Sister Sophia - Olivia Grant has been doing drama since First Grade. They enjoy singing, and performing on stage. Olivia is in 8th grade, and has been in four Hazen Union Drama productions, this will be their fifth. Olivia also did some years in ballet, and has some experience dancing. They hope you will enjoy the show!

Maddie Foster - Pudvah - Nun - Maddie Foster-Pudvah is a freshman at Hazen Union school. She’s been in 11 plays and musicals throughout her life. She enjoys baking, acting and reading. She would like to thank everyone who supported her through doing soccer and drama at the same time.

Lauren Thomas - Nun - Lauren Thomas has done 3 years of acting, I would like to thank (I will get back to you on that later tonight.) SheI like to ride my bike, hang out with my friends, play video games, play basketball and soccer. I want to be a teacher.

Windsor Fairbank - Nazi - Windsor is a freshman at Hazen Union School. He enjoys drama and likes playing video games.

JD Miller - Nazi - JD is a 6th grader in HES he likes video games and youtube and likes drama. He has been in eight plays, this play is going to his ninth.

Dylan Kempton - Franz - I'm Franz in the sound of music. Drama is my favorite subject, I’m so excited to do this play. I also can’t wait to do more in the future.

Meghan Rublee - Frau Schmidt - My name is Meghan Rublee and I have been acting for, probably ever, but officially 6 years. I would like to thank everyone who has ever given me a ride to drama, and supported me in any way. My favorite flavor of pie is chocolate. I like to play cards, do card tricks, and draw for fun. When I grow up I want to work in marketing.

Mariana Considine - Liesl - Mariana is a freshman at Hazen Union. This is her sixth musical with Hazen, though she’s lost count of how many shows she’s been in total. Outside of performance arts, she… nevermind. She hopes to continue to better herself by working with people and experiencing and learning as much as she can. She can be found working with Ballet Wolcott, the Greensboro Arts Alliance, and anyone that can stand her.

Will Miller - Friedrich - Will wants the audience to know that he is awesome. He loves to act! He loves puns, plays, and video games!

Maya Remick - Louisa - Maya is a 12 year old girl that loves acting, and has been in very many performances. Her first performance was Toto in the Wizard of Oz done by her elementary school. She was then Pepper in Annie, then the genie in Aladdin. She have also been in two Shakespearian shows over the winter as well as many Greek myths performed in Spanish. Maya is obsessed with dolphins as well as the color orange. She wants to acknowledge her sister Adrienne and her parents, Eric and Sarah. Her dream job is to be an actress performing on Broadway.

Elias Robertson - Kurt - Elias is an 11 year old 6th grader who has been in seven plays/performances. He enjoys playing video games, doing sports, and reading! He wants to be a video game developer when he grows up.

Abby Demers - Brigitta

Sarah Collier - Marta - Sarah is in grade 5 and is 10 years old. This is her 4th play and she loves musicals. She is happy to dedicate her performance to her family because she wouldn’t be able to do this without their support.

Lizzy Considine - Gretl - I (Lizzy) am a 3rd grader at HES. I have been in many shows. This is my first role with more than two of my own lines. I like to read, act, dance, and bake. I also am smart for my age. I was an owl in sleeping beauty with GAAR this summer.

Ella Considine - Nun - Ella is a 6th grader at hardwick elementary school she has been in 16 productions all together she has been acting since she was 5 and she loves it.

Avery Lyon - Baron Elberfeld - Avery is in seventh grade and likes video games, sports, and acting
