Alex Aubuchon - Stagehand - Alex is super cool and let Léo write some of their bio for them. This is Alex’s first show as a stage manager, and they have been doing drama since they were a fetus. Their favorite pastimes include listening to loud music, writing, swimming, and wearing giant hats. If you see them you must tell them that you like their hat, even if they aren’t wearing one. Later in life, Alex hopes to become a musical director and a writer.
Aidan Carr - Margaret Dashwood - Aidan Carr is a sophomore at Hazen Union. She likes to play soccer, read, sleep. She started acting in 5th grade, and has tried to continue since then even when scheduling is difficult. She last acted in middle school as Marmie in The Little Women. She would like to thank Deanna Gann and her mother for all the help they gave her, and her family for helping with everything.
Katrina Chaves - Gossip, Ms. Grey - Katrina is a Senior at Hazen Union High school. Sense and Sensibility is her third play Hazen Union. She was previously in the musical Into the Woods as the Steward. She was the lead in the one act play, Witness. She hopes to one day go to the college and study as an actress.
Marc Considine - Director - Mild mannered science teacher by day, director by night. After getting involved in theater by breaking his leg in high school, he has been a part of theater groups around the country for thirty years. Since 1999 he has led, directed, and written for the Hazen Drama club. He also likes to spend his time with his family and outdoors, ideally at the same time. His favorite shows are the ones he gets to do with his family.
Mariana Considine - Choreographer, Marianne Dashwood - Mariana Considine is a junior at Hazen Union School. She has been performing since she was nine years old with various groups including Ballet Wolcott, the Mirror Theater (GAAR), Get Thee to the Funnery, and Lost Nation Theater. Most recently she played Little Red Riding Hood in Hazen’s spring production of Into The Woods, and Lady Macb**h in Get Thee to the Funnery’s summer production of Macb**h. She loves anything to do with creating - with anything from music to trash. She is excited to continue working within the Hazen drama program and is always looking for new opportunities to share her love for the arts!
Abby Demers - Lucy Steele - Abigail is in her sophomore year here at Hazen. She has done many plays starting in kindergarten and wishes to continue in the future. She loves acting with her friends and becoming her characters. She is so excited to be playing Lucy! She is super excited to continue drama at Hazen and hopes to one day be on the big screen. Abigail would like to thank Deanna for putting up with her, for having faith in her, for all the laughs and good times during rehearsals. She would like to thank her parents for everything she has and is, and Tess Martin for getting her started so long ago.
Caleb Friend - John Dashwood - This is Caleb’s first play for the Drama Club and his third year of high school. He joined the club this year to meet new people and have fun. In his free time he enjoys reading, writing, and listening to music. Caleb hopes to continue with the club in his senior year.
Maddie Foster-Pudvah - Ms. Dashwood, Anne Steele - is a junior at Hazen Union School. She’s been in 14 plays and musicals throughout her life, such as a Nun in Sound of Music, Mrs. MacAfee in Bye Bye, Birdie, Doctor in Witness and Lydia in The Princess. She enjoys baking, acting and reading. She would like to thank everyone who has helped her memorize her lines.
Deanna Gann - Elinor Dashwood - Deanna has been in over 17 plays throughout her life and wishes to continue acting in the future. She enjoys music and acting, along with writing and playing basketball. She is a sophomore at Hazen and is so excited to be playing Elinor Dashwood in this production. She can’t wait to continue to act with Hazen drama in years to come. She would also like to thank her whole family for supporting her for so many years.
Audrey Grant - Stage Manager, Lighting Design, Light Board Operator - Audrey has been working on technical theater since 8th grade, and has since worked at four different theaters in the area, as well as every Hazen Drama production-except Into The Woods. When she’s not stage managing, she’s stage managing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, doing calls for The Highland Center and the Flynn, and running tech for Vermont Vaudeville.
Olie Grant - John Middleton - Olie is a 10th grader who really loves theatre. They love playing over-the-top characters such as an over excited teenager in Bye, Bye, Birdie, and Gobbo from The Princess. They’ve been acting since 1st grade, and will continue to act through their senior year. They would like to thank Audrey for keeping them into theater over the years.
Xavier Hart-Marion - John Willoughby - Xavier is excited to be in Hazen’s Sense And Sensibility after trying to be involved for years. He’s a Junior at Hazen, and enjoys being VP of the Drama Club Council, and helping others. He’s into graphic design and video production
Brianna Hislop - Gossip, Mrs. Ferrars - Brianna is a senior at Hazen Union high school. She has participated in past plays which include Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wizard of Oz, and Into the Woods. Her favorite thing to do is hang with friends and listen to music. She can play guitar and loves Harry Potter. She plans to continue to participate in the plays put on by her school.
Kaitlyn Kaiser - Mrs. Jennings - KK is now a junior at Hazen Union High School. This is her sixth show at Hazen, she has also been in Into the Woods, Bye Bye Birdie, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Witness and Almost Maine. Aside from theater, KK enjoys solitude away from most human beings, chocolate, and playing Ukulele. Later in life she would like to keep doing theatre as a side activity, a outlet for the stress that is life.
Leo McMurtrie - Edward Ferrars - Léo is a sophomore at Hazen Union High school. This is his 5th play at hazen, and the 4th time he's played a super awkward guy. His other roles have been Cyril in The Princess, Max in The Sound of Music, Harvey in Bye Bye, Birdie and the Narrator in Into the Woods. Besides acting, Leo loves drawing, sleeping, and listening and playing music. (if you know any good bands/singers please recommend them he's desperate.)
Tivy Parchment - Fanny Ferrars - Tivy is a senior at Hazen Union. She enjoys travelling, harry potter, and going to concerts. She’s been in a few Hazen shows, including Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan. She wants to go into marketing and live in a big city. She’d like to thank Mr. Considine for finally forcing her to be in another play.
George Race - Colonel Brandon - George Race is in his sophomore year at Hazen Union High School. He has played Friedrich Bhaer in Little Women, Jimmy in Almost, Maine, Mr. MacAfee in Bye Bye, Birdie, Narrator in The Princess, and Jack in Into The Woods. He is in Hazen’s Select chorus, and loves performing. He’d like to thank everyone who helped with the production!
Elias Robertson - Gossip - Elias is a 8th grader at Hazen Union, he has been in multiple shows before this one, like Bye Bye Birdie, where he was Randolph Macafee, or like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory where he was Charlie Bucket. He loves acting, biking, and playing video games. He is hoping to become an actor or an author when he gets older. And, he also hopes you will enjoy the show!
Lauren Thomas - Gossip, Lady Middleton- Lauren Thomas is in her freshman year at Hazen Union High School. She have been in 8 plays. She loves to act, sing, and play sports. At Hazen she has been Meg in Little Women, a Nun in The Sound of Music, Sandrine and Daniel Harding’s wife in Almost, Maine, and 14 and 8 in Complaint department and Lemonade. In this next play her love of soccer has conflicted with her love of drama, she is thankful she can have a small part so she does not lose an amazing opportunity to continue to act. She knows school is very important and she has high goals to get into a good college. She loves to hang out with her friends and family, and would like to thank her mom who has been there for her through everything. Lauren can’t wait to see what's in the future for her.
