Benefitfocus has replaced the BenefitBridge online system for employees to view their insurance benefits, complete Open Enrollment, request coverage changes due to qualifying life events, print benefit verification page, and access additional resources year-round.

Open Enrollment is a designated time period during the year that allows employees to make changes to their insurance enrollment elections for the upcoming plan year effective January 1 - December 31. Plan selections remain in effect for the entire calendar year unless there is a Qualifying Life Event.
ALL benefit-eligible employees will be required to review their benefit plans and submit their enrollment selections during Open Enrollment, even if they do not waiving medical insurance or wish to make changes to their benefit elections.
Employees who have experienced a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) must complete the online enrollment / change / re-enrollment process through Benefitfocus and submit required documentation no later than 30 days from the date of the qualifying life event.
Retirees (retired on or before 06/30/18) and COBRA members' benefits are managed through the District's third-party administrator, Inspira Financial (formerly PayFlex). Retirees and COBRA members can register to access their accounts online through the Inspira Financial website.

How do I make changes to my coverage?
Members who experience a Qualifying Life Event (marriage, birth, death, divorce, change of employment status, To view your benefits, register your account through the Inspira Financial website.
How do I send in my check for premium payment?
If you do not wish to download the Inspira Financial (formerly PayFlex) mobile app to your smart device or visit the Inspira Financial website on your desktop computer to register your account online and submit debit card payments directly to Inspira Financial , then make your check payable and mail to:

Can I send my payments to the OUSD Insurance Department?
No. Effective 08/01/2021, all payments must be submitted directly to Inspira Financial (formerly PayFlex).
Any payments received at OUSD will be returned by mail to the retiree / COBRA member.
Can I submit payments online?
Yes - you can register / login to the Inspira Financial website to make payments with your debit card, view account balances, submit claims, or make changes to your coverage.
