Scholarships
Paying for college may seem daunting, but luckily there are MILLIONS of scholarships out there just waiting for smart, talented, young people like you! There are scholarships related to academics, athletics, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, hobbies/interests, etc. Seriously, there is something for everybody!
The majority of scholarships are for high school seniors and open in the spring, but there are always exceptions to the rule so start checking early and check back often.
Be aware that not all scholarship sites are looking out for the students' best interests. Remember, applying for scholarships should be FREE! If any site asks you for a credit card number, you're not in the right place. If you have any doubts, ask your counselor or stop by the College & Career Center.
