2023-24 - Deb Huftalin & Meaghan Johnson
Instructional Coach will lead a process of collaborative inquiry with teachers and administrators to improve student learning at Osage Community Schools. Multiple sources of information will be utilized for analysis of student learning, as well as teacher practice in support of professional growth and systemic improvement.
Responsibilities will include:
Engage in coaching cycles, which includes reflective, confidential dialogue with staff around observation, student work and assessment data in order to effectively implement research based practices.
Promote a culture focused on collaboration, self-reflective practice, and a growth mindset through developing and nurturing positive peer relationships.
Support Success Coaches, Mentors, & PLC leaders with district initiatives.
Communicate effective teaching practices and/or what’s happening in the classrooms through resources such as Facebook, etc.
Research, communicate, and demonstrate instructional and behavioral strategies that align with desired student outcomes for teachers and assist in implementing them.
Offer extended learning opportunities throughout the year through learning lunches, podcasts, videos, etc.
Collaborate with the District Leadership Team and TLC Leaders in promoting instructional improvement in Osage

.5 K-12 Technology Coach
2023-24 - Kelley Molitor
Technology Coach will enhance learning through improved integration of technology. The Tech Coach will provide leadership, support and professional development that will sustain Osage’s use of technology for improved instruction, communication, and student achievement.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with teachers/staff in composing effective technology-infused, content-based lessons, and support teachers as they implement the lessons in their classrooms
Provide leadership in implementing technology plans and serve on the district technology committee, including collaborating in the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional standards, technology materials, and software
Gather and disseminate information (grants, policies, PD opportunities) relevant to instructional technology
Participate in professional development and individual learning related to the position to maintain expertise in the field
Support and guide building technology coaches
Collaborate with the District Leadership Team and TLC Leaders in promoting instructional improvement in Osage

1 Mentor Coordinator
2023-24 - Tori Muller
Mentor Coordinator - will provide support for teachers who are new to the profession in their first two years of teaching as well as teachers in their first year in the District. Mentor Coordinator will organize and monitor the district mentor program.
Responsibilities will include:
Recognize social and emotional needs of the new teacher and provide support related to student needs, standards, curriculum, and assessment
Serve as a collaborative partner by developing and applying ideas, solving challenges, and learning together
Will visit the mentee's classroom and observe other teachers’ classrooms with the new teacher as needed in collaboration with the assigned mentor coach.
Meet at least monthly and/or as needed to go through mentees checklist
Utilize and update a mentor framework and share the framework with mentors and mentees
Support assigned one on one mentor coaches and follow up on framework and procedures
Meet regularly with all District Mentor Coaches
Serve on District Leadership Team

2023-24 - Jackie Muller, Janet Larrison, Valarie Berge, Amber Tabbert, Nathan Muhs, Jennifer Ham, Meaghan Johnson, Shelby Schroeder, Meg Schutjer, Adam Brinkman, Ryan McInroy, Chris Kyhl, Melanie Gast, & Malayne Meyer
PLC Coach will share responsibility for leading each PLC team as they analyze and use assessment results to strengthen the district’s multiple tiers of support by ensuring students receive the universal interventions they need.
Responsibilities will include:
Facilitate PLCs for focus (topics staff choose) and content/curricular areas
Guide teachers in development of data-driven decision-making
Identify the current level of student achievement, establish a goal to improve the current level, work together to achieve that goal, and provide periodic evidence of progress
Guide and instruct teachers in effective student interventions
Support teachers in their understanding, implementation, and analysis of evidence-based instructional practices.
Assist with planning, presentation, and implementation of professional development
Prepare PLC agenda prior to meetings and run effective meetings.
Assist in the establishment of group norms
Serve on District Leadership Team

3 Building Success Coaches
2023-24 Erin Bremer, Tori Muller, & Barb Foster
Building Success Coach will be a resource for the MTSS process. This position will collaborate with others to provide academic and behavioral strategies and interventions to increase student success. The coach will also extend and provide opportunities for staff learning in regards to evidence based strategies and interventions.
Responsibilities will include:
Increase the staff’s capacity to effectively implement identified core or universal practices to all students, by providing staff with ongoing and embedded professional development.
Collaborate with administration, instructional coaches, teachers, and staff to develop and implement procedures to increase students’ academic and behavioral success.
Support teachers in the development and tracking of interventions.
Model evidence-based academic and behavioral strategies.
Actively engages the staff to collaborate, promote and increase student success.
Serve on District Leadership Team.

2023-24 Lori Randall (K-6) & Chris Kyhl (7-12)
Building Technology Coach will work with others to enhance learning through improved integration of technology.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with teachers in composing effective technology-infused, content-based lessons, and support teachers as they implement the lessons in their classrooms
Participate in professional development and individual learning related to the position to maintain expertise in the field
Provide individual support and necessary training to staff as they actively use technology in their classrooms to support student achievement
Assist with technology training as part of our collaborative school staff
Serve on Technology Committee and District Leadership Team

Responsibilities will include:
Facilitate communication between TLC coaches and Teachers
Participate in TLC position interviews and evaluations
Communicate with the entire staff about the TLC program including: positions, job descriptions, pay and anything else deemed important
Monitor TLC fidelity and effectiveness

Mentor Coach will provide support for teachers who are new to the profession in their first two years of teaching as well as teachers in their first year in the District. Mentor Coaches are assigned one-to-one relationships with new teachers, bridging the gap between student teaching and the teaching career.
Responsibilities will include:
Recognize social and emotional needs of the new teacher and provide support
Visit mentee’s classroom to provide objective, non-judgmental data and facilitate reflections/provide feedback on classroom management and instruction
Observe other teachers’ classrooms with assigned new teacher and share reflections
Provide consultative support related to student needs, standards, curriculum, and assessment
Serve as a collaborative partner by developing and applying ideas, solving challenges, and learning together
Provide feedback on classroom management and instruction
Meet at least monthly with new teachers
Meet regularly with Mentor Coordinator
Serve on District Leadership Team
