Regular Meeting Location
We currently meet at Chapel 2 on Andersen Air Force Base. Please check out our Contact Page for more information on installation access for our members and prospects.
What Does A Typical Meeting Look Like?
Members arrive on time and sign in upon entry. When the meeting begins, cadets form up for detail and inspection. Next, the squadron recites the cadet oath and core values before proceeding into drill. Formation drill generally takes 10-15 minutes. Then, cadets assemble into the classroom for the evening's lesson. PT is held in various locations based on the activity scheduled. The meeting closes with a cadet formation, upcoming agenda briefing and dismissal. (Time is also allowed at the end of meetings for those cadets needing to test for promotion purposes).
Monthly Meetings At-A-Glance
Each weekly meeting follows a similar structure but differs in content and expectations.
Cadets arrive dressed in their blues uniform and participate in character education lessons and activities. Promotions are also given on these weeks.
Cadets wear their pt uniform and perform various physical education exercises. Quarterly pt tests are also scheduled on these weeks.
Aerospace Education week centers on STEM related lessons and group projects. Cadets wear their typical ABUs.
Cadets wear their ABUs and focus on leadership education and training.
Some months have a fifth Thursday which allows for Safety lessons and various field trip opportunities both on the installation and out in the community. Cadets typically wear their ABUs unless otherwise instructed.
As a cadet squadron, our membership consists of cadets (ages 12 through 21) and senior members (ages 18 and over) who meet together to accomplish our goal of educating youth in the core missions. Please see our calendar and event information for more about upcoming activities. If you are interested in joining our organization, reach out to us on our Contact Page.
