Richland is a credit recovery high school that allows students the opportunity to earn credits at an accelerated pace on a 9-10 week quarter system. The Richland academic year is divided into 4 quarters. Students who attend the entire school year and pass all required classes may have the option to return to their school of residence or graduate early from Richland High School. Student progress is evaluated at the end of each quarter. Students who attend the entire school year and pass all required classes have the opportunity to earn 130 credits. Progress is evaluated at the end of each quarter through junior and senior credit evaluations.
Credit recovery is done through: In-seat classes, (APEX) credit recovery, Power Reading, and SCC Dual Enrollment.
11th grade students must attend Richland all school year.
