Power skills are person centered skills that are important for success in career and life. These traits and abilities can be grown through experience. Rather than specialized skills that are beneficial in a specific setting/career, power skills can enhance your success across a broad range of careers. Want to talk about how to built one or more of these skills? Stop in and talk to one of your guidance counselors.
This month your school counselors will be highlighting career information in an effort to educate and inspire individuals to explore career options, set goals, and make strategic decisions about potential career paths. Keep these 4 building blocks in mind when you are thinking about preparing for your future career.
Your Student Services Support Team is here to help you!

Brady welcomed 14 new middle school students to our district this year. On September 5th, guidance counselors, Sarah DiBenedetto and Cindy Massey, hosted a new student welcome to provide students an opportunity to meet one another, help them feel connected and part of our school community, and support their transition to Brady Middle School.

Meet our 8th grade WEB leaders!
WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Leaders are 8th-grade students who serve as mentors for incoming 6th graders to help them transition to middle school, acting as positive role models, providing support during the first weeks of school, and working with them throughout the year. The WEB program, created by The Boomerang Project, aims to build confidence, improve the school culture, and help all students feel a sense of belonging.
