This assignment is a component of our Senior Capston Paper. This is the final draft of our Methodology section. The objective of this section of the paper is to have all the data found or collected for our project in one place to analyze it wholisitcally and explain how it helps or alters previously held ideas. It is meant to be connected to our research questions and provide answers to them to further the project along. 

For our Methodology section, our group decided to conduct our own experiments to collect our own data. We were able to come up with ways to collect data to address all the data points that we needed to cover. This was a necessary assignment because it allowed us to write down our ideas which gave us the chance to really think about the experiments we wanted to conduct to get the best results possible. This assignment showed our group's ability to take data results and analyze them efficiently to support our goals and get insight as to what we needed to prioritize while creating our formulation. 

The Law Day assignment I chose to complete was the writing contest. The objective was to provide an overview of the importance of civic duties such as jury duty and voting. This assignment was meant explain why these civic duties are important to our democracy. 

Through completing this assignment, I learned how these civic duties truly the backbone of our democracy. I sought out to explain how there are laws and rules in place to make it harder for people from low income backgrounds and people of color to perform their civic duties. This was a little difficult to complete due to the word count restraint.
