In this section will be all my algebra assignments
Marking Period 1
In this assignment I did very well and the objectives of the assignment were to describe the key features of the graph of f(x) = x^3(x-3)(x-1)^2. Some other task that were needed to complete in this assignment were to find coordinate pairs, the value of F(x), end behaviors, and making the graph. In some ways I could have improve a better score is naming it correctly since I forgot to do that in the graph aswell.
In this assignment I did very poorly and the objectives where to find out if they were functions and proving that claim. The challenging part is that we had to find the point of intersection for functions with a model, a chart, and as well as a graph. The part were I did wrong was on the written function since I messed up and used the wrong formula finding the intersection between the lines.
Marking Period 2
In this assignment I did very poorly and the objectives where to Collect all the stars using as few equations as you can. The challenging part is that we earned one point is awarded for collecting each star and bonus points for consistency, creativity and using as few equations as possible. The part were I did wrong was on the written function since I messed up and used the wrong formula finding the intersection between the lines trying to collect the stars.
In this assignment I did very well and the objective was to use the function given to us and draw it. Finding out the Horizontal Asymptotes and the Vertical Asymptotes. Finding out the x intercept as well as the y intercept and the hole if it's on the right side or the left. In parts where I could have fixed in my sketch is the hole part it should have been on the line on top of the graph.
Marking Period 3
In this assignment I did very well and the objective was to use the show all steps and work of the Log format, and without using a calculator. Finding out the rules and applying them into the question while given a certain amount of time such as using properties of Logarithms and the One to one Property. In parts where I could have fixed my answers is that I read it wrong and they need actual variables instead of using letters and words. In the back I would have to answer the Log question by expanding the answer from 1 Log to multiple being added, and another question doing the opposite which is being Condense which is multiple Log and numbers into one simple one.
In this assignment I didn't do well and the objectives where to complete all the questions in the test in a certain amount of time. The challenging part is that each questions was about exponents and we had to figure them out by simplifying, sketching, and combining the exponents . The part were I did wrong was on the graphs since I wrote the end behaviors wrong and and a few domains and ranges incorrectly. On the back I would be answering questions like number two but using the specific numbers we were given and using real life answers to respond.
Marking Period 4
In this assignment I didn't do well and the objectives where to complete all the questions in the test in a certain amount of time. The challenging part is that each questions was about the unit circle and we would not given the unit circle and we had to remember everything by memory. The part where I did wrong was on the last four since they were the co secant and tan's, and more of those with fractions of the unit circle. Other parts of this assignment was that we were limited by time which was around 10 minutes to complete all the answers.
In this assignment I did very well and the objective was to use the show all steps and work of the format, and without using a calculator. Finding out the rules and applying them into the graphs and making sure they combine making you get all the stars. In parts where I could have fixed my answers is that I read it wrong and they need actual of the numbers being added and I had to using specific forms of the functions completing each one. And another question doing the opposite which is being graphs being higher and having a low dip.
