The Big Bang
The Big Bang
In this section will be all my Physics assignments
Marking Period 1
In this assignment I did well because of how I was able to confirm that the condition for static translational equilibrium is that the vector sum of forces is zero. As well as experimentally testing the vector nature of force. Throughout completing this assignment I learned more about how how Newton’s Second Law in a one-dimensional motion system can be learned by constructing a body diagram showing all forces with the magnitude and direction acting on an object in the one dimensional system. The main significance of this experiment is to know how to derive the equation for theoretical acceleration from the free body diagrams in the system and to compare the theoretical value of acceleration to the experimental value.
In this assignment I did not do well and the objective was to investigate one-dimensional motion of an object with constant acceleration and velocity changes over time. As well to learn how to determine the values of velocity and acceleration from displacement and time measured in the experiment. In this assignment I could have done more was to explained the text more through in the report and data And also to provide better notes on my minutes.
Marking Period 2
In this assignment we were meant to make a lab report that does more than present data; it demonstrates the writer’s comprehension of the concepts behind the data. As well as recording the expected and observed results is not sufficient, identifying how and why differences occurred. The main purpose as well is to explain how it affected our experiment, and showing our understanding of the principles the experiment was designed to examine. keeping in mind that a format, however helpful, cannot replace clear thinking and organized writing, needing to organize our ideas carefully and express them coherently.
In this assignment I did not do well and the objective To measure the static and kinetic frictional forces, and measure the coefficients of static and kinetic friction between surfaces. As well to learn how to analyze the forces using a free body diagram and experimentally verify your predictions of static and kinetic forces. In this assignment I could have done more to compare the coefficients for static and kinetic friction for each item, and telling if there is a pattern. Others if there was a difference in the coefficient of static friction between the horizontal and incline plane and explain with omre reasoning in the text.
