Nurse Twiddy

Hello! I am so excited to be part of an AMAZING school family here at HES! I have always enjoyed working with the public and earned my first Bachelor's Degree of Criminal Justice at West Liberty University in WV. I moved to North Carolina where I worked as a police officer and also met my husband. Upon getting married and starting a family, I decided to change careers and attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where I received a Bachelor's Degree of Nursing. I have practiced primarily in Emergency/Acute care medicine and have been a school nurse for 10 years. I have five children (1 girl and 4 boys) and four dogs (1 chocolate lab and 3 yellow labs).
