The project was very relevant for the participating municipalities/cities and it has had a great positive impact on their work communities.

During the project, the planning and implementation phases of Ivalo's new school was going on in Inari, and the planning phase of Inari's new school was just about to start. The planning phase of a new school was underway in Sodankylä, as well as in Kuusamo. All these participants said that the project was very useful for their work both from the perspective of planning new schools and the operational culture implemented in them.

In Uusikaupunki, planning for a new school was already well underway, as was Multila. For them, the benefit was focused on maximizing the pedagogical utilization of the new school's functionalities from the very beginning and developing the operating culture.

Pielavesi has done long-term preparatory work for the planning and implementing of the new school, and they felt that the project brought them great benefit in this work.

Schools in Kuusamo and Sodankylä are now under construction. Multilateral participants have now received their own new school building. All of them benefited from the training, in addition to the lectures and participatory work, from the perspective of their own development task.

FEEDBACK ON TRAINING

We held a training project feedback survey before the Future Seminar.

Of those who participated in the training and responded to the feedback survey, 40% were from Lapland, 26.7% from North Savo, 13.3% from Central Finland, 13.3% from Southwest Finland and 6.7% from North Ostrobothnia.

For 6.7% of the training participants, Sami was their mother tongue, the rest were Finnish speakers. 36.7% had worked for 21-30 years, 26.7% for 11-20 years and 6.7% for more than 30 years in the teaching field.
