Considerations

Consider the audience and purpose so you can produce a report that gets a message across as effectively as possible.

When creating your report ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • The title of the report
  • A brief introduction
  • The information requested
  • The date of the report
  • Leave out unnecessary information
  • Page numbers for reports that go over several pages

Keywords

Report

The formatted output of a query providing context

Truncated Data

Data that has been cut off (shortened) making it incomplete or inaccurate.

Duplicate Data

Data that unnecessarily appears more than once in a report
