Communication is perhaps the most important skill we can learn. This PPS outcome seeks to develop our ability to talk to others in a meaningful way, listen actively and perceptively, and to gain greater understanding of the people in our community.
a. To skillfully interview someone in your "outer'' community. Not a total stranger, but someone you recognize well but haven't interacted deeply with.
b. Emphasis on skillfully interviewing. The idea is that you gain networking skills that you can use in your careers. The ability to listen!
c. Empathy skills to help understand the views, challenges and lives of others.
d. To learn about someone in the opposite way that Social Media works. Deeply, with empathy and without judgement.

Being able to build on ideas/opinions of others.
LO 1 - identify their own strengths and develop areas for growth
