Open your ALC gradebook's Art tab, and then read here:

Sketchbook Lessons.  Varied points, usually 2-5 each.   There's a Sketchbook section of this website, with 36 lessons so far.  Ask Ms. Olson for a sketchbook. 

Art Appreciation Assignments.  Varied points, 2-10 points each. Another section on this website.  These are mostly assignments where you don't do art yourself, but you respond to artwork and learn to look at art, or view an art documentary and respond in writing.  Ask Ms. Olson for paper copies of worksheets, or click links, MAKE COPIES, and work online.

Individual projects, chosen and completed in conference with an ALC teacher.  Many project ideas given in a section of this website, but you can choose your own (and run them by Ms. Olson before starting)

There are also weekly art classes  with projects and assignments that are not part of the other pages.  These projects will cover artistic elements such as color, line, shading, design, shape, form, texture, and pattern, and you will earn points for both being in class and for completing the lessons/ projects.  All slideshows from these classes are uploaded onto this website under Lessons so if you weren't part of the classes, YOU CAN STILL VIEW THE SLIDES AND DO THE ARTWORK.

In addition, we do have a short online course of study students may choose for additional points.
