The following topics were explored in the meeting in Oulu (see Oulu meeting aftermovie here):
During the week the students
We made paper from recycled materials. The paper was put to use as frames for the group photo.
We visited Oulu University to see how technology can be used to design a smarter future. In FabLab Oulu we explored the possibilities of 3D printing and in Tellus Innovation Arena the students participated in a workshop on innovative thinking. The students were given a lecture on Arctic Pitching and had to work on a hands-on challenge. This activity inspired the Start-up event in Munich meeting.
The purpose of this exercise was to use literature to explore how an imaginative projection based on current trends and developments might play out in the future and then have the students produce their own creative writing to produce a vision of 2030.
We also did an exercise for green areas. The idea here was to get to know how much of your city is green.
