The teachers from Portugal, who were participating in the Varna meeting in May 2017, made a video about their week in the sea capital.
Meeting in Varna
The focus will be on School development
Workshops:
Pupils exchange best-practice examples from their own schools and ideas for their ideal school in 2030.
Together the pupils create a virtual tour of the current school in Varna and their dream school.
1. The participants are going to exchange and develop strategies for high schools in general in the context of an ever-changing educational environment.
2. We try to answer the question how the local authorities can facilitate the citizens to participate in governance decisions regarding school development and enable them to express their ideas.
3. Focus will also be on the topic: Our school - smart and global.
Product: The pupils create a concept how they envisage school in 2030, a school they would want to send their own kids to. Teachers are also asked to draft a concept for the future school. Both visions will be discussed by a plenary session including pupils and teachers at the same time.
We end the meeting, as usual, by publishing results via the website and eTwinning. There is also going to be a feedback-session with pupils and teachers. In the last session we are going to prepare first steps for the next meeting.
