Refugee Center

VLOS (Refugee Support Sint-Niklaas) is an independent non-profit organization that supports refugees and asylum seekers in their search for childcare, material assistance and administrative support during regularization.

A Syrian refugee told about his journey to our country in French. Four Erasmus+ participants were interpreters.

Then the students visited the VLOS bazaar where asylum seekers can go for clothing, toys and household items. All items from the VLOS bazaar are second-hand and were given away by private individuals, companies and friendly organizations. Visitors to the VLOS bazaar pay a small amount for their purchases.
