created as part of the Erasmus+ Project, to show how important the digitalization of not only regular curricular but also extracurricular information is, for our generation.

1. Simplify the access to information at our school
2. Strengthen our school community
3. Advance and accelerate digitalization
In “your profile” you can find links to the private part of our official school webpage, about teacher substitutes, exam dates, your personal time table, addresses of your classmates and the schoolweb-mail. Using the private webpage allows you to have your individualized infos without sharing them with the rest of the world or having trouble with privacy policies. This part of our app is crucial for the daily routine of many students. Teachers expect them to check the substitutes every morning.
In here all the general information concerning our school is gathered. Not only the address, post codes and contact details, such as phone numbers, the official webpage and emails, but also a location on an online map and the opening hours of our school office. This makes our app useful for everyone who´s not a student, for instant parents or legal guardians.
This platform was created by the government of Bavaria, it's pretty new and has only been online since 2017. Putting it into our app did not only open the opportunity to upload data without struggling with privacy policies, but also to advertise it. Even though this platform has many advantages, it’s not very popular with teachers and students, so by including it in our app we hope to motivate more and more people to sign up and check out all the projects, activities and infos along with other things that were uploaded there, by students as well as teachers.
This part of our app focuses on the extracurricular activities at our school. After a short introduction of the school representatives, like school presidents or the heads of the tutors, you can check out our school newspaper, a list of our working groups, an explanation video to what class presidents are and what they're doing, a link to the official Bavarian website for active students, to help them with planning projects and getting involved in their schools, the list which tutors are responsible for which class, the official website of our school mediators, the contacts on how to get tutoring in our school and the contacts in general, to find the responsible teachers on certain areas. This is probably the most extensive part of our app, which is partly a result of us being active students ourselves and thereby being well informed, but also because the engagement of our students is big part of our school spirit and what makes us the way we are.
This area of our app is very self-explaining. A short link opens our official school calendar. It's the unindividualized version, including topics that are concerning every student or big parts of them. What we added are short descriptions of the main events of the year, so new or uninformed students can look up these activities and hopefully find something they like. It could be seen as the advertiser for events, to not only show what we have, but also get people interested, so they might get involved themselves.
Last but not least we put up some more “general” information about our school, but this time with focus on what program is provided. It lists the kind of educational focuses are provide, like which languages you can learn or how students are prepared for future lives, also the exchanges and trips, as well as projects and activities, from international exchanges to our school garden work group, the counselling contacts and the direct link back to our community. This can lead our students to information that may not be advertised every year over and over. I can help making important decisions on your school career or even point you to your next hobby.
How we started from scratch.
As we are actively involved in many projects and extracurricular activities, we recognized weaknesses in our daily school life:
· information and communication gaps
· no direct data access
· student’s dependence on teachers
· dispersed data
Our solution: compressing all essential information and data in one simple app!
The first steps
· Collecting all necessary documents, data and information concerning our school life, that shall be digitalized
· Talking to teachers, clarifying and receiving knowledgeable advice
· Informing ourselves on how to build an app
· Talking to the computer club and collecting advice
· Starting to work on an actual app-building webpage
· Digitalizing and uploading all necessary documents
· Compromising and linking all in our app-prototype
· Picking a design and icons
· Advertizing through posters in our school
· Doing announcements via E-mail and social media
