Mr. Rivard

Welcome! My name is Mr. Christopher L. Rivard and I am one of the middle school teachers here at Our Lady of Victory. This year, I will be teaching 6-8th grade religion and serving as a 7th grade homeroom teacher. This is my first year teaching at OLV and my 11th year as a teacher overall. 

I am a 3rd generation Catholic school teacher. Both of my parents and my grandmother were teachers at Divine Child in Dearborn, where I also attended. After graduation from Divine Child, I attended Michigan State University where I earned a B.A. in History and completed my teacher certification. Over the last ten years, I have taught at Holy Redeemer Grade School in Southwest Detroit and Cabrini Academy and High School in Allen Park. I am very excited to be a middle school teacher here at Our Lady of Victory.

When I am not teaching, I spend my time traveling around the country and world. When I am at home here in Northville, I can usually be found cheering on the Spartans and the Lions or watching classic cinema on Turner Classic Movies.
