In 2016, I attained my Doctorate Degree in Educational Technology and Educational Psychology.
My home life is full of beautiful chaos as my husband and I have been blessed with 2 girls ages 19 & 17. My husband (Dr. Mr. Sweet), is a professor at EMU in Athletic Training and substitutes here at OLV. Megan is attending Wayne State University and Madison is a senior at Stevenson High School. My family and I enjoy our 2 puppies, Max and Lulu, traveling, and watching our kids activities/sports. I'm so excited and blessed to be part of the OLV family!
My name is Melanie Weipert and I am so excited to be part of the Our Lady of Victory team! I am a retired teacher, and this is my first year teaching here at OLV. Currently, I enjoy teaching reading and writing to our 5th graders, and reading to our 4th- grade students. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University.
We have three wonderful daughters, Chloe, Grace, and Marie. Chloe is 22 and just graduated from Michigan State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. Grace is 19 and attends CMU, and is currently an Interior Design student, and enjoys being on the acapella team. Marie is 15 and attends Walled Lake Western High School, she loves being part of the cheer team. I look forward to summer in Michigan and really enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the lake, swimming, boating, and relaxing!
My name is Angela Maile and I am entering my 13th year of Catholic Education. I started my career at Divine Child in second grade, followed by fifth grade Religion and Math. I taught middle school Religion here at OLV for four years, then became the Campus Minister at Our Lady of Good counsel for two years. This is my third year teaching fifth grade Religion and Social Studies along with fourth grade Religion at OLV. I got my Master's degree at the University of Michigan, and enjoy football Saturday. I enjoy spending time up north with my two dogs and nine nieces and nephews. Cycling is my favorite hobby and I will always have a love for soccer, playing at UofM was a wonderful experience. It is a joy to lead students closer to Jesus each day and help them know the infinite love of the Father!
