In-Person Hybrid Learning Model

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School's In-Person Hybrid Model is designed for our larger classes of more than 25 students. Students in these classes will be split into 2 sections to allow for adequate social distancing, safety and health mitigations, while still allowing students to attend school 5 days per week.

During Week 1, Group A will experience traditional learning for the first half of the week in the classroom, while Group B will livestream the same lessons in another classroom and work on digital enrichment, under the direction of an educational facilitator. Groups will switch mid-week after a deep sanitization of both classrooms.

During Week 2, Group B will experience traditional learning in the classroom for the first half of the week, while Group A will livestream the same lessons in the another classroom and work on digital enrichment, under the direction of an educational facilitator. Groups will switch mid-week after a deep sanitization of both classrooms.

The mid-week switch enables each group of students to have consistent, live interaction with their classroom teacher each week, no matter where they are in the school building.
