Distance Learning

The OLMC distance learning program will feature a structured online learning environment. The option for online learning will be provided to a student if:

1) Their family is compromised for health or personal reasons.

2) The city of Cleveland or Cuyahoga County move to Purple (Level 4) on the Covid-19 Advisory Scale.

3) OLMC needs to close for an extended period of time due to staff or student illness, or as directed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.

In fairness to the faculty, staff and students, if you choose online learning from home, your child will remain committed to this choice for the entire quarter. After each quarter is completed online, you will be contacted to inquire if your child will continue online learning or if you are planning to send your child(ren) back to OLMC for classroom instruction.

For those choosing this option, there are components of the curriculum that we may not be able to deliver, including some specials.

Detailed information on the new distance learning program will be available to all families by August 7.
