This presentation highlights some issues we've noticed continuing this school year, such as misgendering, deadnaming, and the usage of slurs. We discuss how to address these harmful aspects of the school experience. In addition, we introduced a wonderful Google Drive which we put together with curriculum, lesson plan, and general safe-school resources for every subject.

This presentation highlights some issues we've noticed at school that we want the teachers to be conscious of as we return to school. We especially focus on some simple best practices for being respectful of trans students, and remind them of our curriculum resources. We also share other great resources such as an easy 'Getting to Know You' type form and the Gender Support Plan. This was created and presented by Alia Cusolito to the teachers on the day before students started school in the '22-'23 school year.
