GLSEN is a leading nonprofit which believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+ inclusive education. They are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN chapters working to make this right a reality.
Asexuality Visibility and Education Network (AVEN)
The Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN) has worked to educate the public on asexuality and create a community for asexual people for 20 years. The AVEN community centers around its forum, which provides a safe space for asexual and questioning people and their partners, friends and families to discuss their experiences.
National Center for Transgender Equality
Founded in 2003, the NCTE is an organization dedicated to creating policy change to advance the rights of transgender and nonbinary people. They provide "know your rights" guides for anything from name changes to federal employment and a clear agenda for the advancement of trans rights.
