Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps protect you and the district by adding an additional layer of security, making it harder for someone to log in as if they were you. Your information is safer because thieves would need to steal both your password and your secondary authenticator.

  • The multi-factor authentication process comes into play when you sign-in to Chrome with your district Google account. This will not change how you sign on to a district device.

In most cases, MFA will remember a device.

You will need to authenticate your account every 90 days.

Student accounts will not be affected by this change.

Our move to MFA means that you will no longer need to change your password once or twice a year.

You will only need to change your password if your account is compromised in some way.

You can always change or add an additional option to your MFA by going to aka.ms/mysecurityinfo.
