Purpose

This team will review existing materials in high school math courses and recommend new materials to align with Common Core State Standards.

• To understand, disseminate and implement Common Core State Standards in mathematics
• To select, disseminate and/or purchase new instructional materials and equipment to help students meet CCSS in mathematics.
• To review, update, and support how the district will comply with state-required assessments.
• To implement any new or existing applicable laws, board policies, and graduation requirements.

Purpose

This team will review our current elementary reading and writing program, adopted curriculum, standards, and the 90/30/90 structure. The team will look at how to support alignment to Common Core with existing Storytown and David Matteson programs, while exploring both supplemental materials and instructional strategies. The team will also look at how to sustain past initiatives.

This team will review current Kindergarten through 12th grade music curriculum. The CRT then recommends new instructional material (including equipment and technology), changes in curriculum, standards and courses, and professional development.

This team will review current Kindergarten through 12th grade health and physical education curriculum (including sexual health education). The CRT then recommends new instructional material (including equipment and technology), changes in curriculum, standards and courses, and professional development.

Purpose

The team will complete the secondary science adoption by considering and purchasing instructional materials to teach chemistry, physics, and two electives. The team will also monitor and make recommendations as to the implementation of the secondary science adoption overall.
