Chicken N Pickle is a unique entertainment and dining venue that combines a casual restaurant atmosphere with indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, yard games, and community events.
Through the Bridge to Success program, interns gain valuable hands-on work experience in hospitality and customer service by running food to tables alongside servers, bussing tables, cleaning dishes, assisting with food preparation in the kitchen, and helping maintain the cleanliness of the grounds and pickleball courts.
This internship opportunity is currently offered during the afternoon session only. Interns working in the kitchen are required to pass a ServSafe Food Handler Safety course before participating in food preparation duties.
Chicken N Pickle Interns work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while running food to guests, bussing tables, and helping keep dining areas clean and organized. Interns build customer service, communication, teamwork, and time management skills while supporting restaurant staff and creating a positive experience for guests.
As part of the Prep Squad at Chicken N Pickle, Bridge to Success interns assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks behind the scenes. Interns help portion ingredients, prepare food items, organize supplies, wash dishes, polish silverware, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen while building teamwork, communication, and cullinary skills.
Bridge to Success interns working in groundskeeping at Chicken N Pickle help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests by pulling trash, cleaning windows, tables, and chairs, and assisting with the upkeep of the pickleball courts and outdoor areas. Interns build responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail while supporting daily operations around the facility.
Our internship program would not be possible without the dedication and support of the employees at Chicken N Pickle. They play a vital role in guiding and teaching our interns, sharing their knowledge, and providing hands-on training that helps students build real-world skills. Their mentorship not only ensures the success of the program but also creates a positive and encouraging environment for our interns to grow.
Below are some photos of former Mentors of the Year from our Embassy Suites job site being recognized and awarded certificates for their outstanding commitment. A dedicated staff member from Chicken N Pickle will receive their award at our End of the Year Celebration on May 18, 2026.
