Embassy Suites is our original job site and continues to serve as the home base for the classroom portion of the Bridge to Success program. Students have gained hands-on experience in departments such as Laundry, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and more. These opportunities allow interns to learn the importance of customer service, teamwork, and professionalism in a real-world hospitality setting.
Below are some photos of past interns in action across different departments at Embassy.
Right next door to Embassy Suites, the St. Charles Convention Center serves as another key job site for our interns. Connected directly to the hotel, the Convention Center offers students the chance to experience the fast-paced world of event services. From helping with setup and operations to assisting guests during large conferences and community events, interns gain valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and customer service.
The Bridge to Success program continues to grow each year, creating more opportunities for students to explore different career paths. One of the newest additions to our list of partner job sites is Fresh Thyme Market. Here, interns gain hands-on experience in a retail environment by assisting with stocking, customer service, bagging groceries, pushing carts, and daily store operations.
At the end of each school year, Bridge to Success hosts a special celebration to recognize our interns’ hard work and accomplishments. During this event, we honor the successful completion of the program and highlight outstanding mentors of the year from each job site. It’s a time to celebrate growth, achievement, and the strong partnerships that make the program possible.
