Audible has launched Audible Stories which Amazon describes as “a free service that offers educational and entertaining audiobook content for kids, teens, and families.”

If your child’s teacher uses “epic!” in the classroom, then they’ve sent you an invitation to join for the school year. Epic includes e-books and audio books in English and Spanish as well as videos.

According to their website, the International Children’s Digital Library Foundation's goal is to build a collection of books that represents outstanding historical and contemporary books from throughout the world. Ultimately, the Foundation aspires to have every culture and language represented so that every child can know and appreciate the riches of children's literature from the world community. *This resource is free year-round. Junior Library Guild is offering free Elementary Stream. No sign in required. The Lower School Library subscribes to JLG book boxes for building our library collection, and many of the books their editors choose for book boxes go on to win awards. *This resource is free through May 31st.

Your local public library has thousands of ebooks and audiobooks available for download through Libby. A library card is required to access this app, however many libraries are allowing you to sign up for a library card just with your cell phone number. *This resource is free year-round with a library card. We also have Sora, which is the school library version of Libby used to access OES's digital library collection.

According to their website, the National Emergency Library is a temporary collection of books that supports emergency remote teaching… while universities, schools, training centers, and libraries are closed. You can search by grade level as well.
