To get the most out of this Co-op, we kick things off with a Deep Dive Assessment. Here’s how to get ready:
Know Your Strengths: Figure out what you’re good at so you can use your skills to your advantage.
Spot the Gaps: See where you might need help so you can get the support you need early.
Scout Resources: Find the tools and people in your field who can help you succeed.
Build Your Roadmap: Set up your plan and make professional connections to keep you on track all term.
Doing this now will give you a head start and make sure you’re ready to tackle your project with confidence!
In order to drive deeper into your skills and capacities we are going to do a comprehensive skills assessment. The goal is to deepen your understanding of what you are bringing to the table. Having a good understanding of your strengths and areas of need will allow you to tailor your experience for success.

Choose ONE of the three skills assessment tools to complte. You do not need to do any of the 'reflection' tasks at the end of the assessments unless you would like to.

You’ve done some self-checks and reflections—now it’s time to see what you’ve got and what you still need to crush this semester.
To rock a 5–6 month project, you need a solid foundation. Your next step is all about getting organized and staying safe. In your workbook, you’ll fill out a checklist with the essentials:
The Plan: Where and when are you working?
The Safety: How will you stay safe and healthy?
The Squad: Who can help you, and what resources do you have?
The Paperwork: Is all your documentation and communication ready?
Getting these things sorted now will set you up to feel confident, prepared, and ready to tackle your project like a pro!
