Principal's Message

The girls’ representing Convent Glen did a great job at the badminton tournament this week and had a lot of fun! Thank you to Mrs. Ferraro for coaching and to Mme Elliott for convening the tournament. We are looking very forward to all families that are able to join us at the Ottawa 67s game this evening while we cheer on our School Choir and the 67s. Thank you to Mrs. Lepindea, Mme Monique, Mme Cormier and all of our staff for all of their hard work and dedication with our choir to make this evening a success. A special thank you to Mrs. Lepindea and Mrs. Albert for all of their organization and communication with the Ottawa 67s to make this evening a success for Convent Glen Catholic School!

Parking for drop off and pick up of your child: 

Our staff arrive by 9am daily and need to have a space to park near the school.  When you are dropping off your child, the parking area for parents is between the end of the parking lot near the Garbage/Recycling area and the beginning of the fenced area for the yard(by the Junior entrance in the back of the school). Please do not park past this area and DO NOT use the Wheelchair accessible space if you do not have a permit for this. This parking space is closest to the school for our Special Transportation vehicles dropping off and pick up our students with special needs. If your child arrives after 9:15, they are to go to the main office as there is not staff to monitor the doors to let them in through the back doors.

Buddy Bash - Volunteers Needed! 

Feb 13th | 5:30 - 7:00PM | School Gym 

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, and friendship fun — including a sweet treat raffle, friendship bracelets, and lots of ways to celebrate buddies and friends.

Tickets can be purchased by donation through School Cash Online. *Please note that all families must register in advance, as space is limited and tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.

VOLUNTEER

To make this a success, we’re in need of more volunteers to help support this event. Volunteers can register to help with set up, tear down, concessions, hall monitoring, cloak room, activity monitoring etc. Shifts are in 30 minute intervals, but you’re welcome to register for multiple shifts.
