Create a Video in Brightspace

You may need to create a video as part of your coursework. Brightspace has an easy-to-use built-in video recording tool that can be accessed from both the Dropbox or Quizzes tool.

Step 1: Click Record Video

Within the quiz question or assignment dropbox, locate the Record Video button.

Step 2: Click New Recording

Adjust your webcam to capture the desired video image, then click New Recording. Your video has a maximum length of 30 minutes.

Step 3: Click Stop Recording

When you are finished recording your video, click Stop Recording. You may then play the video to review it. If you wish to redo the recording, click "New Recording".

Step 4: Click Add

When you are satisfied with your video, click "Add"

Step 5: Provide a title

You must provide a title for your video. A description is optional. Click Add again.

You will go back to the quiz or dropbox page. Proceed to complete the quiz or assignment and submit as usual.
