Grade 6 Science

Welcome to our science class website! This year, our young grade 6 scientists will embark on an engaging, hands-on journey through the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum, where they will explore fundamental concepts across four core strands:

• Life Systems: Biodiversity

• Matter and Energy: Electricity and Electrical Devices

• Structures and Mechanisms: Flight

• Earth and Space Systems: Space

Integrated throughout each unit, students will build essential STEAM skills, using research, hands-on experimentation, coding, and engineering design to solve real-world problems and discover how science shapes our everyday lives.
