Grade 4 Science

Welcome to our science class website! This year, our young grade 4 scientists will embark on an engaging, hands-on journey through the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum, where they will explore fundamental concepts across four core strands: 

• Life Systems - Habitats and Communities

• Matter and Energy - Light and Sound

• Structures and Mechanisms - Machines and Their Mechanisms

• Earth and Space Systems - Rocks, Minerals, and Geological Processes

Integrated throughout each unit, students will build essential STEAM skills, using research, hands-on experimentation, coding, and engineering design to solve real-world problems and discover how science shapes our everyday lives.
