At our school, we use Hapara and Hapara Workspace to support our student's use of technology and to differentiate their learning. Each teacher has a Hapara account for their classroom, which they use to monitor student activity on the computer. They also use it to push out documents, share links, and send messages to students. We use Hapara workspace to offer students individualized practice in math and language. It also provides an efficient way of presenting a unit of work in one space with the development of learning sequences using a series of cards.

All students are asked to bring in their own personal headphones (labeled) if they wish to use them with chromebooks.
If students wish to use a calculator, they are asked to bring their own.
As we have several students with severe allergies, please ensure all snacks and lunches are nut free.
Kleenex and hand sanitizer for the classroom are always appreciated (especially during the winter months).
Students are expected to be completing approximately 50 minutes of Language and Math homework each evening. In our class I would like for your child to regularly be reading chapter books and practicing skills on Magma math. Students should also be practicing their multiplication and division facts using any method they prefer (flash cards, online game, memorization) at least once a week. I understand that students will be involved in extracurricular sports and activities and will have nights when this practice will not be possible. Thank You!
Incomplete class work such as class projects will occasionally be sent home for completion.
