At the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
- understand the difference between an operating system, application, and programming language
- connect to the course notebook, to post your daily work and submit your weekly assignments
- review logging into board intranet
- review Computer Use Policy, especially board intranet
- go over ICS3U Course Outline (see below)
- go over why electronic computers were originally built
- go over the difference between a computer operating system, application, and programming language
- go over creating an electronic course notebook
- Log into your Google Drive account and find the folder for your course ICS3C/ICS3U
- for Intro-01, upload the 2 screenshots you took yesterday of the finished Google forms
- remember, you MUST have an entry for EVERY SINGLE CLASS
- each day when we are doing programming, you MUST upload a PDF of all your code, a screenshot proving that it works and a link to your GitHub repository
- under Intro-02, attach the course outline as proof you read it

- on the iPad, try out The Swift App (Learn to Code 1) or Hopscotch, if you can not get Swift

- get them to email me (chris.atkinson@ocsb.ca) the following:
- their name
- your name
- what course you are taking
- get them to attach to ICS3C/3U Course Outline, as proof, they read it.
