Master of Social Work - UW-Milwaukee

This is my sixth year as the social worker at OCHS, and I love working with students as they navigate high school. I became a school social worker because I believe every student deserves to be seen & supported. My role is to empower those I work with to face & overcome life's challenges. I provide non-judgmental, solution-focused support to students & their families.

As the advisor to the Multicultural Club and the Neurodiversity Alliance Club, I love to learn about how different people experience the world. I believe that community thrives when we create shared spaces where everyone is valued, recognized, and respected for their unique perspective & experience. Check the announcements or email me for meeting info, I would love to see you there! 😁

Outside of work, I can be found checking out Milwaukee's diverse restaurant scene, buying new houseplants (as if I don't have enough already) or thrifting, hanging out at home with my cats and husband, reading, baking, cooking, or spending time with my many nieces and nephews. I love to spend time outside and am a big fan of camping, traveling, hiking, and kayaking!

Fun Fact: I have been bungee jumping and skydiving - bungee jumping was scarier!!
