Dual Enrollment

what is dual Enrollment?

According to the U.S. Department of Education, Dual Enrollment is defined as "...students enroll in postsecondary coursework while also enrolled in high school..." or put another way, it is when high school students (usually juniors and seniors) earn college credits while enrolled in separate courses that are not part of their high school curriculum. Keep in mind, not all colleges and universities unconditionally accept dual enrollment courses for credit.

Transcripted Credits: Classes offered at OCHS

What is Transcripted Credit? Transcripted credit courses are also known as Dual Enrollment or Articulated courses. A student in high school signs up for a course that has an agreement with a post-secondary institution and if they meet the requirements of the course, the student receives high school and college credit. Check out the Oak Creek High School Programming Guide to see the updated list of CAPP and Transcripted Courses available at the high school.

Transferology: How will my credits transfer?
