Master of Social Work - UW-Milwaukee
This is my sixth year as the social worker at OCHS, and I love working with students as they navigate high school. I became a school social worker because I believe every student deserves to be seen & supported. My role is to empower those I work with to face & overcome life's challenges. I am committed to offering non-judgmental, solution-focused support to students & their families.
I love to be outside, travel, go hiking, camping, and kayaking. In my free time I like to cook, bake, watch true crime documentaries, read, spend time with my family, and hang out with my husband & three cats. I am also the advisor of Multicultural Club at the high school and love to learn about new cultures and celebrate the diversity of our community in Oak Creek!
A Bit of Advice: Never let the fear of other people's judgements keep you from being true to yourself, doing the things you love, or trying new things. You only experience high school once, so challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone!
Fun Fact: I have been bungee jumping and skydiving :)
“So the universe is not quite as you thought it was. You’d better rearrange your beliefs then because you certainly can’t rearrange the universe.” - Isaac Asimov
