Alone No More

While he sits alone,

he feels unknown.

His thoughts stay to himself,

he feels like a 50 year old book, rotting on a shelf.

Seeking sadness

Feeling worthless

Looking hopeless,

A tear drapes from his eye as he begins to weep and cry.

His lunch box, now dotted with a stain, makes him feel like nothing but a sand grain, he is all alone.

This is all until one day, he sees that sun ray

Another man, coming his way.

His hands begin to shake, as his heart begins to ache.

Shaking like a deer, after feeling the tension of a lion from across the lake, he sat there in shock.

However

This time it wasn’t the type of aches and nerves he was used to.

The man sat next to him and began a conversation. As if it was a casual act.

Seeking glory

Feeling like he is flying in the clouds

Looking belligerent

A tear of happiness streams down his face.
