you must experience pain and suffering

You must struggle

how the depressed

and the poor struggle

Before you know kindness as the gift that it is

you must go through a lot

You must feel pain a lot

You must struggle a lot

and you see the reaching hand

Then it is only kindness that makes sense anymore,

only kindness that bring you up

and sends you out into the day to live happily

only kindness that brightens your life

from the crowd of the world to say

It is I you have been looking for,

and then goes with you everywhere

like a prayer
