We are looking for students who:

  • will be in grade 11 or 12 next year

  • want to help grade 9 students transition to high school successfully

  • show potential leadership & mentoring skills

  • can act as role models to the incoming grade 9s

  • are responsible; have good attendance & catch up on missed work when away

  • have the language skills to communicate clearly with their grade 9 group members

  • are committed; be ready to attend STARS events even when it requires missing class & catching up later as well as coming to all of our weekly meetings at lunch!
